Moving beyond consideration of the individual against the collective; the individual is no longer pitted against the collective. The collective good must be considered through the individual. The two are interlinked and must be considered, and valued, together. I and You are joined in We - it is the relationship between people that serves as the foundation for society - society is nothing without individuals and the individual can no longer stand alone without society.
The rising paradigm is holistic systems - casting aside reductionism to nurture and grow synergy, the complimentary, the emergent. Understanding now requires systemic thinking and consideration of how systems are interlocked and integrated.
The paradigm of the hyper-masculine, hyper-patriarchy has reached the point of endangering the whole of humanity. No longer can children be sent off, en masse, to colonize, conquer, make war and return to the Fatherland. Now, the Motherland must seek to protect and nurture the children so that they can, in turn, care for and run the Home.
The new Frontier is beyond our current grounding. It is not new lands, but new ideas and in time, new worlds that we must look and endeavor toward. Automation should be pursued to reduce the total amount of work necessary for society as a whole to function. More labor should be poured into intellectual pursuits and the arts to advance culture.
